Is there any good paying construction jobs right now?

good as far as the economy is bad right now, and my dad have his own small construction business and now its not going well and my family is like going through the hole at the moment and barely have money for food and custom problly have much for Christmas this year, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any construction jobs that are hiring people because my dad is really surprising in the building and I'd hate to have him give the race thats been all his life and hes not going to be earning enough money to support my family just as he was and I am just worried can someone please help me!: (
